- Sample answer: It’s universally accepted that there are a few hazards involved with the increase in the use of private cars. Essentially, one fundamental concern is probably that it leads to an increase in pollution. This fact is unmistakably perturbing because we are facing huge global pollution problems at the moment. Additionally, another major cause for concern has to be the fact that cars consume huge amounts of our energy resources. And the underlying repercussions of this are that we will soon be confronted with a global energy crisis.
⇒ Khác với câu trước, câu trả lời này đã khai thác sâu được vấn đề, đa dạng hóa các ý tưởng. Bên cạnh đó yếu tố gây ấn tượng còn là cách sử dụng các cụm từ nối để liên kết câu rõ ràng, paraphrase từ vựng phong phú và ngôn ngữ nói về “problems” hợp lý.

Đi sâu vào phát triển câu trả lời:

- This fact is unmistakably perturbing because...
- This needs to be seen as a sensitive matter because…
Tiếp tục dùng linking phrase để giới thiệu ý tưởng thứ 2:
- Additionally, another major cause for concern has to be the fact that...
- Equally worrying is the suggestion that...
- Another matter which causes unease is the point that...
Mở rộng và phát triển ý:
- And the short-term and/or long-term implications of this are that...
- And the underlying repercussions of this are that...
- And the principal upshot of this is probably that...

Thông thường các giám khảo sẽ đặt ra câu hỏi về Solutions sau khi bạn đã hoàn thành câu Problems, hãy đợi tới khi đó để trình bày các giải pháp nhé!

Questions: What are the possible results if the temperature continues going up?
⇒ Sample answer: Well, I think there are a number of problems related to this. However, one of the most serious worries would be that global warming will cause continuous rising level of the sea as polar ice caps melt. And it could lead to catastrophic flood striking the mainland and islands in particular areas of the world, making them vanish off the face of the earth and lie under the sea. Additionally, the second concern would be that rising temperature will create intense heat waves and drought. And the consequences of this would be that the spread of desertification may take place, leading to the loss of farmland and living areas.
